Asia Public Policy Forum: Poverty, Inequality and Social Protection seminar was held on May 28-30, 2013 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The forum brought together participants from governments, development partners and civil society from various countries in Asia and social protection experts from different parts of the world. The participants considered approaches to social protection and attemped to explore the extent to which, and the conditions under which, social protection programs can help reduce poverty and inequality.
