National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K)

This material gives a brief overview of TNP2K in relation to efforts to accelerate poverty reduction in Indonesia. TNP2K designs and plans poverty reduction policies and programmes, as well as supervises and manages the implementation of these programmes and activities. Its strategy focuses around three clusters aimed at comprehensively reducing the national poverty rate: 1) Cluster 1, which focus on households-based social assistance programmes; 2) Cluster 2, which emphasizes community empowerment programmes; and 3) Cluster 3, which seeks to expand economic opportunities for low-income households.
