CSR Initiative and Targeting Improvement for an Effective and Efficient Poverty Alleviation Programs


This following presentation was delivered at "CSR Conference, Indonesia Business Links", which was held in Jakarta on 14 March 2013. The effectiveness of poverty reduction initiatives in Indonesia depends on public participation, include from private corporations. Corporate social responsibility can contribute to the reduction of poverty in Indonesia through better coordination, targeting mechanisms, and partnerships. TNP2K advises corporations in improving their CSR targeting to boost their impact. Partnerships between the government and corporations, through concrete public private partnership mechanisms, can optimise poverty reduction initiatives.
